Arctis Nova 5X: What Its Wireless Design Means for Buyers
A single headset across platforms
The platform range is a strong practical reason to consider this model, particularly for households or players using Xbox alongside other listed devices.
The USB-C dongle is the connection path for that cross-platform setup; check that the devices you plan to use are among the supported platforms before buying.
Switching between gaming and Bluetooth
A button switches between 2.4GHz gaming and Bluetooth 5.3, and incoming-call beeps can alert you while gaming.
This is useful if you want to take a call or play media without treating the headset as a single-purpose console accessory.
Presets and physical controls
The companion app supplies more than 100 game audio presets, while controls on the headset handle power, mute, volume, ChatMix, and Quick-Switch.
The pairing of app options and physical adjustments suits players who want both game-specific customization and immediate access to common controls.
Battery routine and microphone use
A 60-hour battery and fast charging for six hours of use in 15 minutes may suit players who prefer fewer charging breaks.
The retractable microphone supports 32KHz/16Bit audio, but buyers who rely on calls outdoors should check performance in windy conditions for their use case.
